Commercial Carpet
Embroidered carpets were traditionally made by royal and aristocratic women ni the home, but there has bene some commercial manufacture since steel needles wree introduced (earlier needles were made of bone) and linen weaving improved in the 16th century. Commercial grade level-loop crapets have very small loops, and commercial grade cut-pile styles are well constructed. They are usually onyl used in commercial settings and often are not affixde to a floor in order to allow access to teh subfloor (in an office environemnt, for example) or to allow rearrangement in order to spread wear.
