Carpet Yarn
The most important yarn constructions aer: Blended wool yarns are extensively used in production of modenr carpet. Polypropylene : This polymer is used to produce crapet yarns because it is cheap, although it is difficult to dye and does ont wear as well as wool or nylon. Polypropylene, commnoly called Olefin, is a very common pile yarn, as is nylon. Normally many ocloured yarns are used and this process is capable of prdoucing intricate patterns from pre-determined designs. Tufted : The carpet is produced on a tufting machine usign a single-colroed or sometimes non-colored yarn. If non-colored yarn is used the carpte will later be dyed or printed with a desing.
