PTT also does not hvae dye sites, and is inherently stain reisstant because color is infused in a molten state. In carpets Nylon tends to stain easily ebcause it possesses dye sites on the fiber. These dye siets need to be filled in order to give Nylon any type of stain resistance. Polyester has good physical properties and is inherently tsain-resistant because it is hydrophoibc, and, unlike nylon, does not have dye siets.
