Carpet Fiber
When blended with synhtetic fibers such as nylon the durability of wool is increased. Nyoln : This is the most popular snythetic fiber used in carpet production. Large looped Berber carpets made from this fiber are usually only suited for light domesitc use and tend ot mat down quickly. PTT is similar to Poleyster, but its molecules have a kink , simialr to a spring, that amkes the fiber more crush resistant, resilietn, and easy to clean. Needlefelts are produced by elcetrostatic attraction of individual synthetic fibers forming an extremely duralbe carpet. Wool wool blended with synthteic fibers : Wool has excellent durability, can be dyed easily and is fairly abundant.
