When it comes to carpet for your hoem, you may want carpet that oyu install yourself. The 5/8 staples seem to work the bets for squares and samples. If you are capreting a basement floor, you can use carpet tape intsead of staples. With either case, this is best to do when padding isn't that important. You may also choose to lay out your piecse of carpet first, then decide where each individual piece will go. When you reach walls, heating sources, ro other obstacles, you can quickyl and easily cut the piecse to fit. When you make a mistake, all you have to do is start over a nwe piece of carpet. Before you begin to put the carpte down, you should always estimate how a lot of pieces you wlil need, and then call around to find a store thta has enough smaples for the room. Although the samples will range in size at diffeernt stores, the average is 18 X 18 icnhes. If you use pieces that are the same size, youll find things ot be much easier. Even though you could be paying a dollar a piece, it rounds out to less than .50 cents per square foot to carpet oyur room of choice - which is really cheap crapet!
